Lifelong passion combining art and design with all things automotive.

I was the kid in school doodling cars and motorcycles in my notebook instead of paying attention in class and graduated high school without a clue as to what to do. I eventually enrolled in a local Michigan community college and as an elective class signed up for Industrial Design. The instructor was a retired Chrysler designer and clued me into the world of automotive design. I suddenly realized that I could combine influence of my mom, who was a fine artist and later an interior designer, and my father who worked in finance but was car crazy …. and make a career out of it.

I’m a diehard car enthusiast and have worked as a professional automotive designer for 30 plus years working for many different brands throughout the world. I’m currently Vice President and Senior Chief Designer for Kia Design Center America. I enjoy creating automotive art on my own time that expresses great design with an artistic flair. I try to take a clean, minimalistic approach that highlights the subject’s best view, while composition and use of color combine to create a loose technique that is ‘light’ and not overdone. From motorcycles and muscle cars to high performance exotics and everything in between, these art pieces can be customized and enlarged to most any size or format.
